Primul curs de yoga este foarte important, de aceea este obligatoriu sa stii la ce trebuie sa te astepti. Ai mai multe informatii aici

Este bine sa stii ce stil de yoga iti doresti sa practici si daca acel stil ti se potriveste. Altfel ti se poate parea prea dinamic (Ashtanga), prea lent (hatha), prea fierbinte (bikram), sau poate implica prea multa meditatie. Mai multe aici

Am incercat multe tipuri de yoga, incepand cu hatha yoga, apoi am incercat cursurile de ashtanga, hot yoga, vinyasa si nirvana. Cea care mi se potriveste ca o manusa este ashtanga, de aceea practic cel putin 30 de minute de ashtanga in fiecare zi. Care sunt beneficiile? Asta ma intreaba toata lumea 😄

In primul rand, castigi rabdare. Asta e unul din cele mai mari beneficii gaite de mine. Timpul capata alte valente. Apoi iti eliberezi corpul si mintea prin respiratie. Devi calm si relaxat, corpul tau este mai flexibil iar lotusul e floare la ureche. Mai multe beneficii yoga aici

Parctica yoga iti aduce starea Zen. Pentru mine, Zen este mai presus de orice religie, orice tara sau varsta. Este o stare de spirit 🙏

Zen” înseamnă multe lucruri pentru foarte mulți oameni. Dacă pentru noi este un mindset, o stare de bine, un set de asane, poate pentru voi înseamnă o serie de lucruri minunate pe care le faceți în fiecare zi. “Zen” are diferite definiții în multe culturi, însă toate răspunsurile pe care le-am găsit ne-au condus către acest termen: “state of mind“.

Zen” e ce vrei tu să fie, make the best of it.

What is it that you should know when you are a yoga newbie?

What you should ask yourself is:

– what style of yoga you may like

– how do you choose your yoga gear

– how and where are you going to find that perfect mat

– what’s happening at your first yoga class

– other dos and don’ts

Your first yoga class is very important, so it is mandatory that you know what you should expect from it. See more info here

It’s quite important what kind of yoga you want to practice and if this type of yoga fits to your personality. Otherwise you may say that it’s too dynamic (ashtanga), too slow (hatha), too hot (bikram), or it involves too much meditation. More here.

I tried many forms of yoga, starting with hatha yoga, going to asthanga, hot yoga, power yoga, vinyasa and nirvana. The one that fits my personality is ashtanga and I practice at least 30 minutes of ashtanga each day, at home. What are the benefits? Of course, this is the main question that everybody has on their minds. Ok, I’m doing this but what do I get in exchange? First, you get some patience. I know this path, been there, done that. Then you clear your body and mind through breathing. You get calm and relaxed. And your body is more flexible, you can touch your toes with your legs straight, you can stay in lotus, etc. More benefits of practicing yoga here 

You should start this journey with wondering what Zen is. Zen is beyond any religion, any country or age. It’s a mindset.
