When life gives you lemons
When life gives you lemons…it is lemonade time, right?
Making lemonade is so much like doing business (not talking about me) #really?
You get the lemons (ideas), add water (I’ll compare it with the people you work with because water is essential in making lemonade), make it sweet with some honey (PR and sales department #alwayssweet) and if you want some extra taste there is the mint #extraordinary)
What is it first? The lemons that you have to squeeze – doing a brainstorming? Let’s call it ‘lemonstorming’. There are all sorts of lemons, small, bio, tasty, green. It’s hard to choose the perfect one, and sometimes in making the perfect lemonade you have to try several times to find the lemons that work for you.
Water is very important, if there is none, you get no lemonade. If there is too much water your lemonade will be too diluted, losing its taste or you will have to find more lemons and a lot more honey. I don’t recommend the last option cause tying to patch things up in the last moment it’s not professional nor gets you best results.
Choose only good quality water and keep it at a room temperature, not too cold and not too warm, or if you want tea you should make up your mind first.
The sweet part of lemonade is the honey. No lemonade should be made without it. No sugar please…It changes the entire taste. Add some good quality honey and be sure to stir it up.
The mint is the one that makes the lemonade special, it’s fresh and noticeable. In this case you can call it the element of surprise, the one that makes you lemonade different. Not so many people add it or like it (conventionalists), some people always forget to buy some because they don’t understand its true value. If you have it, use it.
And always enjoy it!
When life gives you lemons, think about the perfect lemonade 😉
