Green Therapy for City Girls
Green therapy is one of my favorite pleasures 🍀
I’m more of a city girl, spending my time in posh places with my friends, ALWAYS having a good internet connection (home is where the wifi is 😉), discussing about new projects and events.
Getting out of the city and escaping in the wonderfulness that is our nature means going in Herastrau for 2 hours, getting lost on my way to Cluj (love this city!) or visiting my grandma (hello delicious home cooked meals) ❤️
Lately I’ve been in the pursuit of trying to find more time to rekindle my relationship with nature. And in my long searches on the interwebs, I stumbled on something called Echotherapy or “Green therapy”. Being in nature has long been associated with being mindful and meditative, but a study published in 2010 in the Journal of Environmental Psychology showed that spending even just 20 minutes outside per day could boost energy levels. #gooutside
Being in touch with nature can also improve our focus AND strengthen our immunity. What more can you ask for?!
I can’t answer the question on where happiness lies, but I think it’s all about finding a balance between relaxing walks in nature, social life, and just enough green to boost your well-being. #greenliving
