Fair play, tennis and some Karma wisdom
Last night I watched as Simona Halep won a difficult match against Sabine Lisicki. I stayed glued to the television for the entire tennis match. The struggle, the sweat, the psychological war..it was really intense but also so civil and beautiful. I wish that in real life things could work this way, that’s why today we are talking about “Fair play”.
Let’s talk about fair play 😋
While searching for a universal definition of Fair Play I found this:
“Fair play is a complex notion that comprises and embodies a number of values that are fundamental not only to sport but also to everyday life.”
Also I found that there is an International Fair Play Comitee that supports Fair play in sports..So Cool!
So Fair play is not a theory. It is an attitude that manifests itself in our behavior and our actions in life. Whenever we act in the spirit of fair play we contribute to building a better world, creating strong communities and a fruitful life.
Fair play is about treating the world how you treat yourself. It’s about Respect, Friendship, Team spirit, Fair competition, Respect for written and unwritten rules, Equality, Integrity, Solidarity, Tolerance, Care, Joy. It’s about Love.
And remember, if you don’t live your life in the spirit of fair play, there is a very intelligent lady called Karma that comes and gives you twice of what you planted.
Speaking of plants and green living, on the 19-20 of September we’re all experimenting a green way of life at V for Verde, bio products and healthy life Fair. It is a positive event that teaches about Fair play, good Karma, healthy choices and how balance in life makes one happy.
