A Love Story Between a City Girl and Her Coffee

Cu totii ne dorim sa iubim si sa fim iubiti. Si sa fim fericiti. Mai ales de Valentine’s si de Dragobete cand peste tot e cu love, cu inimioare, cu pupaturi si smotoceli, cu love brunch, evening in two si chestii siropoase si roz. Dar unde incepe dragostea si fericirea si apoi, ce facem de Valentine’s?

Inainte de a ne cauta iubirea si fericirea in bratele perechii, e bine sa stim cum sa fim bine in pielea noastra. Adica sa stim ca fericirea e usoara si vine repede, fie cu o ciocolata, cu o cafea buna (Origoooo) sau cu o ora de yoga. Si nu o gasim neaparat in Loft sau Fratelli, la bar cu un cocktail in mana. Ori pe Tinder. Too mainstream deją 😁

Dragostea ne face sa ne simtim bine dar totul incepe cu iubirea de sine, fie ca suntem in pereche sau nu.

As face un program de dimineata: Facem yoga (vezi yogacity.ro), mancam o ciocolata (raw vegana), o cafea buna (Origo), ascultam muzica, radem la o comedie si nu mai avem nevoie de nimic. Glumesc. One is not enough. Cand suntem in pereche, impartim siropul la doi.

Suntem cu nivelul de endorfine la un nivel suficient si putem spune ca suntem fericiti si atunci iubim fara a ne agata de partener sau a avea asteptari. Si de aici starea de bine. Iar daca ai cu cine imparti fericirea, atunci este o fericire la patrat, caci dragostea multiplica starea de fericire.

Coffee love story: Serotonin, endorphins, coffee and happiness #loveis

We all wish to love and be loved. And to be happy. Especially on Valentine’s Day and Dragobete, when love is in the air, with hearts, kisses & smooches, with love brunches, evenings in two, and all the corny pinky lovey dovey stuff everywhere. But where does love and happiness start? And also, what are we doing for Valentine’s Day?

Before searching for love and happiness in the arms of our other half, it’s good to know how to feel good about ourselves.  What I mean is, to know that happiness is easy come easy go, it’s either with a chocolate bar, a good coffee (Origoooo), or a yoga class. And we won’t necessarily find it at Loft or Fratelli, casually sitting at the bar, sipping a cocktail. Nor on Tinder. That’s already too mainstream. 😬

Love makes us feel all the hype, but it all starts with self love, even if we’re in a relationship or not.

I would make a morning schedule: yoga (see yogacity.ro), chocolate (raw vegan that is), good coffee (Origo), music, romantic comedies and nothing else. I’m kidding. One of each is not enough. When there’s two involved, sharing is caring.

Our endorphins levels are high enough so we can say that we’re happy and then we love without clinging to our partner or having high expectations. And that’s where good feelings come from. And if you have someone to share your happiness with, you may as well double it, as love multiplies the feeling of happiness.
